Donation Guidelines

At Whimsy, we value the people and organizations making a difference in Gibsons and across the Sunshine Coast. While we’d love to support every good cause, our donation budget is limited, and we’re unable to fulfil every request.

To help us consider your request, please keep the following in mind:

Connect with us in person
We welcome you to stop by the shop to discuss your fundraiser or event. Please choose a quieter time, or call ahead to arrange a suitable time to speak with us.

Share the details
Please provide a written request or event flyer with your organization’s name, contact information, event date, and how the donation will be used.

Be specific
Let us know what you’re requesting, such as a gift card or product donation. 

Plan ahead
Please submit your request at least 4 weeks before your event to allow time for consideration. 

Keep it local
We give priority to causes and events that directly benefit Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast community.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a donation. Thank you for understanding, thinking of Whimsy, and helping make our community a wonderful place to live.
